Ruby Gilmore Obituary
February 13, 1928 - May 10, 2009
On Sunday, May 10, 2009 Granny peacefully went home to Heaven to be with her son David, leaving behind all of us that loved her dearly. She leaves behind her daughter Loretta Virga, granddaughters Christina and Tracy and grandson Gunner, great-grandchildren, Alex and Emerald and long time best friend, Joan Facteau and extended family. She loved each one of us unconditionally. Her smile, her touch and her presence will be missed. Ruby was loved and will be truly missed by all. Granny, we love you very much. There will be a viewing on Sunday, May 17, 2009, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Mount Vernon Family Chapel, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. Reception will be at a later date.

Ruby was truly a ray of sunshine. I will miss her infectious smile and all the wonderful years of her sharing thanksgiving with our family. I'll never forget how we all fought over Ruby's pecan pie during those thanksgivings. I can remember Christina begging grandma Ruby to hide a piece for her before Mary hid the entire pie from everyone.
Ruby - you will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We love you.
