I was sorry to read of Russ's recent passing. I'm glad that you and he were able to come to the Lorain County Genealogical Society Chapter dinner at German's Villa in Vermilion a few years ago. It was good to see him again.

Russ and I often teased each other and exchanged silly blonde jokes at our genealogy meetings. But he sure knew a lot about history and genealogy that he often shared with me. Now Russ gets to meet that long list of ancestors who he spent so much...

My father father-in-law was always sweet and kind to me. I know I had a special place in his heart. I am a hostess at Miss Molly's Tea Room in Medina, Ohio and very recently when he would see me he would say Hi Miss Molly. That is a memory I will never forget. May you rest in peace and someday we will be together again on the beautiful shores of heaven. Love you! Your daughter-in-law Sandy.

I worked with Russell at The Pritchard Corporation in Kansas City and remember him well.

The last 6 weeks was the toughest on him. His body finally gave out.

He was diagnosed with lung cancer a year ago, had radiation therapy and ironically the last CT scan showed shrinkage of the 4.5cm tumor. News he never heard before he passed away. We were hoping this would brighten his spirits.

My brothers and I and our significant others pitched in over this last year to help get him to the various doctors appointments, surgeries and help Mom out. He realized that we...
