Ruth was a good friend for many years. We were neighbors, sailing friends and, later, she joined my Senior class at Stephens YW and then at War Memorial Fitness Center.

I kept in touch through her friend, Peggy Johnson.

She was a great lady and a lot of fun.

Dear Kent,

I was saddened to learn of the loss of your mother. Ruth was a thoughful neighbor and especially tolerant of the antics of neighborhood children who frequented your Hawthorne Road home. She will always be fondly remembered by the adults and the

children of that Little Rock neighborhood.

Dear Kent, Mary, and Kerry, Ruth was a wonderful person and

will be deeply missed. We will always remember her kindness and artistic talents. We are thinking of you and send our deepest Sympathy.
