Pittsburg Funeral Chapel - Pittsburg Obituary

Ryan was born December 31, 1988, in Pittsburg, CA and lived most his life in Pittsburg and a few years in Vancouver and Burnaby in Canada and sadly left us too soon on June 3, 2019. Ryan was a young man with a larger than life character and all that knew him, loved him. He enjoyed being with his loved ones, listening to music and was very passionate about watching the Golden State Warriors. His goofy ways, silly antics and infectious smile will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother, Anita Prasad and father, Rakesh Nand; maternal grandmother, Lajja Prasad; paternal grandmother, Raj Nand; two brothers, Christopher Nand and Dylan Nand and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandfathers, Vinod Prasad and Barma Nand.

Friends and family are invited to the funeral service on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 10:00am at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Gudwara Service to follow immediately after the funeral at Sri Guru Ravidass Temple at 2150 Crestview Drive, Pittsburg CA 94565.

Not sure what to say?

Ryan and I weren’t friends. We were brothers. A week before he passed away he told me he was going to visit Pittsburg very soon. We hadn’t seen each other in about a year, but when we we spoke we both knew it was all love. I didn’t know it would be our last conversation. I was very proud of him he said he got his own place and a job. I always told him he could do anything he put his mind to. I always believed in him achieving all he wished for. After he passed away he visited me in my dream....
