Sally Barnum

I didn’t know she had passed. I just randomly looked her up today and saw her obituary. Very shocking. I worked with her at Dr. Edward Weinshelbaums office and am saddened to hear of this. Sally has an awesome family and I am glad to have her and them ♥ I am so sorry for your loss.

Sally’s passing was a great shock to me. She was a dear friend whom I also had the pleasure to work with for many years up until she retired in July. She was a very dedicated person, both to her job and her friends. I had given her a kitty three years ago this Thanksgiving, and I don’t think that kitty could have gotten a better home filled with more love than with Sally. Sally was so concerned that the kitty Kharma would be alone, she went and got another kitty, Tory, as a friend for Kharma....

I worked with Sal about 40 years ago. This news of her passing catches me by surprise. She was a friend and a supportive co-worker who enjoyed a good laugh and loved the children in the school where we worked. For me she was part of the fabric of Gainesville, and the many memories of those days. I’m glad we had a few comments back and forth recently on Facebook which told me she remembered too.
