Not sure what to say?

I was a classmate of Sally Ratila. I am just learning of her passing. She was a sweet, warm person. I remember her smile and quiet, confident manner. Condolences to her friends and family. Sincerely, Angeliki (Jeanie) Theoharis

For Sally.

Tidal Surges

The waves rise up
Breaking, they cast their rich composites
Of shells and sand and weeds upon the shore

Multi-generations of people
Arise, carrying with them their many thoughts, ideas and concerns
To lay them down upon our days.

From the receding waters new waves arise
New generations appear as the elders withdraw
Etching fresh, the laid down patters, bearing new composites.

To the Family of Sally,

I was so saddened to hear of Sally's passing. I remember her throughout my years in school and at Billy Ward's pond where we all grew up. I saw her a few years ago at the craft store she worked in and she was so kind and helpful. The way in which I always knew her. My deepest sympathy to each of you.

To the family and friends of Sally,
I am deeply saddened to hear about Sally. As I read the entries of some of my classmates, I too recall memories of my friendship with Sally. Not long ago, I was looking at some slide photos that my Dad had taken many, many, years ago when we were in the Summer Theatre Workshop production of "Girl Crazy". I think we were about 13 years old. There is a lovely picture of Sally dressed in a bright pink satin costume. I also have a magical ink drawing that...

I met Sally in first grade, and we have been friends for almost 40 years. We went to Scotland together when I was in college, and she came to visit me after law school when I was working on the Navajo reservation. She also took care of my beloved pets (all 9 of them) many times over the years and she loved taking photos in our garden and yard which goes right down to a peaceful river. I have so many photos to remember her by. She was the sister I never had (we called each other "soul...

Sally Ratila - A beautiful woman inside and out. Sally has been my cat sitter for over 15 years. She stayed at my home while I was away, my cats were secure and so was my home. Sally loved being at my home as I live on a lake and it was like a vacation to her. At her last visit to my home she took a photograph of my cat Portia. She had this photo enlarged and framed. This photograph was accepted for viewing by the Fitchburg Art Museum and hung there for over 3 months. After the viewing...

To family and friends of Sally Ratila,

I was surprised to see that Sally is no longer with us. I too, was a Childhood class mate. I remember Sally's very blonde hair, the remembrance of her makes me smile. I know that she will be missed by all those that knew her. Treasuring the special memories.
Deepest Sympathy

To the entire Ratila Family and friends,

I remember Sally from Crocker to BF Brown, to FHS. She taught me how to draw. I remember in Crocker she was reading "Misty" a story about a horse. She helped me draw the cover art (the head of Misty). Oddly enough I was going to send a co-worker one of her Coggshall cards as a get well note on 09.11, I chose not to because I only have five left. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you.

Sincerely,

Jim Hubbard
