My sympathies to the family and DMH family. I knew Sandra through DMH. She was always welcoming and smiling. She was a wonderful, caring woman who will be missed greatly.

I met Sandra close to twenty years ago when I was very new to the field of mental health. She was kind and had a gentle spirit, always smiling. I met Sandra when she started working at the DMH Central Office. She was always sweet, gracious and had a loving spirit. Throughout the years we would have long conversations from time to time. She would always support me and my family through the many fundraisers that my sons were involved in. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. I met Sandra when she first came to work at DMH. She did my first audit. I was new at my job and she was encouraging and very kind. Her love and support of mental health and services to all was evident. She was compassionate and very giving. I'm blessed to have known her and had the opportunity to work with her on different boards. My prayers go to her family..know that she will be missed and was greatly appreciated.

I met Sandra several years ago while placing social work students in field placements at DMH. She also supported the professional development partnership between the School of Social Work at JSU and DMH. She will be remembered by JSU School of Social Work for her kind spirit of embracing diversity.
