Not sure what to say?

I had the honor of playing drums in a small quartet/quintet for which Sandy played the acoustic bass. Sandy was never grouchy, and it was such a loss to know he would not be playing any longer. I never heard Sandy complain or say a bad word about anyone. Truly a man whose life made mine better.

I was privileged to have played drums with Sandy on several occasions. Sandy was not only a phenominal musician, but an uplifting spirit to me and to everyone who knew him. Sandy was always a joy to be around and was one of those people who never seemed to say anything negative about other people. Sandy never complained; as a result, his illness was a complete shock to me.

Rest well, my friend; If I make it to your neck of the woods, maybe we can form a quintet and do a few gigs...

Sandy, I miss your smile and your wit.

Dearest Sandy, how I miss your smile and your wit. You were such a kind and generous man.

I am ever so grateful to have known Sandy and be able to call him my friend. He was charming, funny, creative, and kind. He truly was a gift. He will missed.

Sandy was a treasure to his friends and family. A unique individual who was kind, caring and so damn creative. It was hard to keep up with him. I miss him and am proud to have been included in his circle of friends. He was one of a kind.

Sandy Lane, you were one of a kind and talented at so many things. You will be missed

I knew Sandy as a kid growing up in Sebastopole. He treated me like his own son.
A great caring guy. He will be deeply missed.
