I am so sorry that I didn't know that Ms. Jaffarian had passed away. I'm very sad but was she an amazing lady or what! My middle school won the Sara Jaffarian award back in 2010 and so I feel like I got to know her. I have her picture on my desk right now sitting on her couch and looking at all of my hundreds of student's thank you notes to her! She had the body of an older woman but the mind of a 20 year old! I wish just a few of the people I know could be as progressive as Sara...
