Not sure what to say?

Laurie and Mike,
I just heard about the loss of your beloved son. My prayers are with you, as only God can give you the strength to cope with this heartache. May you find some solace.

I have recently heard the shocking news of Scott's death. I lived in Kansas City some years ago, and had the opportunity to meet Scott at his grandparents, Edith and Clarence Dicus. I have been a friend of his uncle Kent's for many years. Scott's presence that day put a gleaming light into the eyes of his grandparents, and I remember commenting to Edith how lucky she was to have such special grandkids, and she smiled, and commented, "...you mean blessed." I believe the secret to who we...

I did not have the privilege of knowing Scott personally, only through the sharing of personal memories of him through my dearest friend, Kent Dicus, Scott's uncle. What I have heard of Scott tells me that he was an amazing young man, so full of life, with a ready smile, wonderful humor and a giant heart. Our Lord is lucky to have such an amazing man with Him now. Laurie and Mike, you are in in my prayers, and I pray that your grief may be eased by the memories of your wonderful son. God...

We were so sorry to hear about Scott. Our thoughts are with you both, the kids and the entire family.

So sorry to hear of Scott's death.

Scott and my son were best of friends...probably from the first grade right up until the day he died. Scott was a fine young man and I will always be thankful that my son had a friend the quality of Scott. He was extremely intelligent, pleasant to be around, always friendly and a joy to talk to. He is missed by me and a large number of people and my sympathy and prayers go out to his family and friends.
