Shane Mullins Obituary
Shane was an Arizona native. He was born in Chandler and spent most of his life living in and around the Gilbert area. A proud member of the Edu-Prize charter school family, and a graduate of Mesquite High School. Shane also recently completed his studies toward acquisition of a Bachelor's of Science degree from Arizona State University in the field of Technological Entrepreneurship and Management. In addition to exploring a variety of successful business and development ventures as a young entrepreneur, Shane also enjoyed a wide range of hobbies and activities. Maintaining a garden of flowers, fruits, and vegetables were mainstays. Through his travels to tropical regions and by hiking Arizona mountains and desert trails, Shane thoroughly enjoyed exploring and partaking in the world of nature. Shane found great joy in sharing his love of the outdoors with friends and family. Shane also pursued making jewelry, learning the art of glass-blowing and torch work, remote control race cars, Legos, model rockets, his large tropical fish collection, and working on DIY improvements to his new home. Shane cared for many people and loved even more. He was always willing to give his support to friends and family, and often strangers as well, without regard for himself. A kind and loving heart, and a selfless giving nature both dominated Shane's spirit and his daily walk.
Shane is preceded in death by his grandfathers Elbert Darrell Mullins and William Edward Hall.
Survivors include his mother Tessie C. Mullins, and father Guy D. Mullins, and two younger siblings Zoe R. Mullins and Casey G. Mullins; his grandparents Maria Espindola, Robert Espindola, and Hilda Osborne; aunts and uncles Robert Espindola Jr., Traci Espindola, Tyrha Lance, Robin Riley, and Sean Sheridan; and numerous cousins Anyha (Jason) Garcia, Evan Sheridan, Eddie Irizarry, Anthony Espindola, Carina Espindola, Ryan Sheridan, Monique Sheridan, Jennifer Riley, and Michael Riley.
Funeral Services to be held on Friday, December 8 at Mariposa Gardens in Mesa.
· Viewing is at 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 PM
· Burial will be the following morning

So grateful & blessed that Shane was a part of Valeries' journey as well as mine. I will never forget meeting Shane for the first time...he had a very contagious smile. Shanes' Love & Light will forever be embedded in my heart. Rest in Love Shane. Mullins Family, you have my heart and support and I will keep you in my prayers.

My sincere condolences to your family. My son, Mikey and my daughter Becky we're friends of Shane's at Edu-Prize. He was always welcome in our home. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling, but I can hope you have comfort in knowing Shane is with the Lord and you will be with him again. Praying for your entire family and that the Lord will wrap his arms around all of you and give you peace and comfort.

I remember the first day we met, it was summer of 2012 and your girlfriend at the time picked me up and drove me over to your house. She introduced me and you smiled at me and you were super sweet from the start. We all ended up hanging out more and more and I became one of your girlfriends favorite friends. I could go on for hours, months & days of the silly, emotional, terrifying, & happy stories we shared. I remember introducing you to my new boyfriend and you being one of the first people to know him and I were expecting a baby. You were there almost everyday of my pregnancy and brought me over gifts and drinks. You came to the baby shower and had nothing but smiles although you claimed you didnt know how to shop for a baby you ended up buying us one of our favorite boppys for my daughter. After giving birth we asked if youd like to be one of her godfathers and at first you said I dont know, I am not very good at that then we reminded you of how good of a person you were and how perfect youd be a stay a godfather and smiled and took that offer. You were always there for my family and I. The day I found out you had left us to be with god broke my heart at then later that night I felt your presence and gave me a overwhelming feeling of peace. I had a dream about you the night after finding out and you told me to tell everyone you were safe and happy, you also told me to stop worrying because you know hows much of a worry wart I am. We will all love and miss you for an eternity and one day I hope to see you in heaven so we can race our RC cars and talk about gardening. Your family and you have taught me love, respect, and to be there for people when they need someone. It has by far been the worst news but you left your legacy on this earth to teach us all the compassion you had for this world and humans. May you Rest In Peace and watch over everyone you loved. The stories youve left with your family about my family and I have warmed my heart. We love you Shane!
