SHARON KOESTER Obituary
SHARON L. KOESTER, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Parkview Hospital. Born Dec. 6, 1937, in Fort Wayne, she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She retired as a secretary from Koester Body & Frame Shop. She previously had been a waitress at Hall's Restaurants for many years. Surviving are her husband, Steve; daughters, Carna (Andy) Mitchell of Sun City, Ariz., Alana Konger, Stefanie (Chris) Geary and Susie (Dave) Lockwood, all of Fort Wayne, and Debbie Decker of St. Joe, Ind.; sons, Curt (Tami) Garrison of Mesa, Ariz., Kevin (Joy) Garrison of Knoxville, Iowa and John Koester of Huntertown; 28 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Amerida (Dan) Crow of St. Joe; and brothers, Lonney (Bernie) Kimmel of Fort Wayne and Joel (Barb) Kimmel of Phoenix, Ariz. She was preceded in death by brothers, Irvin and Lynn Kimmel. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2010, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., with calling one hour prior. Pastor Donald Nord officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the church.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Thank you for all the good times we had, playing games at the lake on the weekends and going out on the boat. Im going to miss you so much, the world is going to be so different without you in here.
