SHARON L. KOESTER, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Parkview Hospital. Born Dec. 6, 1937, in Fort Wayne, she was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She retired as a secretary from Koester Body & Frame Shop. She previously had been a waitress at Hall's Restaurants for many years. Surviving are her husband, Steve; daughters, Carna (Andy) Mitchell of Sun City, Ariz., Alana Konger, Stefanie (Chris) Geary and Susie (Dave) Lockwood, all of Fort Wayne, and Debbie Decker of St. Joe, Ind.; sons, Curt (Tami) Garrison of Mesa, Ariz., Kevin (Joy) Garrison of Knoxville, Iowa and John Koester of Huntertown; 28 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Amerida (Dan) Crow of St. Joe; and brothers, Lonney (Bernie) Kimmel of Fort Wayne and Joel (Barb) Kimmel of Phoenix, Ariz. She was preceded in death by brothers, Irvin and Lynn Kimmel. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2010, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., with calling one hour prior. Pastor Donald Nord officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
