Ms. Shirley Ardene Bradshaw, 76, of Walkersville, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born October 20, 1935 in Johnsville, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Arabelle Fogle Boone. Ms. Bradshaw was a graduate of Walkersville High School and attended the Frederick Visitation Academy for two years. She was a lifetime member of Grace Rocky Hill Lutheran Church, near Woodsboro. She was formerly employed with Moore Business Forms of Thurmont, the Army Map Service of Washington, DC, Farmers Supply Co./Cargill of Walkersville and Potomac Tile and Carpet of Frederick. She enjoyed her cat, flowers, country music and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are a daughter, Robin Miller and husband Terry of Slatington, PA; a son, Eric Bradshaw of Walkersville; 5 grandchildren, Linsday Balitza, Erin Miller, Gregory Rotariu, Andrew and Brandon Bradshaw; 2 great grandchildren, Samantha and Nathaniel Balitza; and a brother, Ronnie Boone and wife Shirley of Woodsboro. Shirley has gone to join her beloved long-time companion, Robert "Bobby" Weddle. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17 at Rocky Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Gordon Narvesen, pastor of Rocky Hill Lutheran Church, officiating. There will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Hill Lutheran Church, c/o Mary Ritchie, 11122 Renner Rd., Woodsboro, MD 21798 or to the Frederick County Humane Society, 217 W. Patrick St., Frederick, MD 21701.
