Simonne Evans

Simonne J. Evans was received by our Lord on April 2, 2019. She was born June 3, 1935 the eighth of nine children to Joseph and Helene Petta in Monterolier, France. She was preceded in death by her parents along with several brothers and sisters, her husband of 56 years Robert R. Evans, her son Stanley, and a granddaughter Jessica Lee. She is survived by sons Francisco, James, and Jerry Evans and daughter Nicole Barker. She had 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed crossword puzzles and coloring books. She loved her dogs, watching soap operas, sports and wrestling. She was known as "Granny" to many and will be truly missed. Visitation will be 6-8pm Sunday April 7, 2019 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Funeral Services will be 2pm Monday April 8, 2019 at Crawford-Bowers, followed by burial at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
