Our family lived directly across the street from Stan and Jo on Forest Lane. Our family just saw Stan last year in June when we came back to Waukegan to bury our father. I grew up across the street from Stan and Josephine (Jo) and Stan was the kind of neighbor and friend everyone could count on. Stan was the first on our street to get a snow blower in the 1970s and many times, my father and other neighbors awoke to find that Stan had cleared snow from all our driveways.
