KEENE, N.H. -- Stephen H. Lefebvre, 21, of Keene, N.H., died on Tuesday morning, Dec. 3, 2013, at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene following a brief illness.
He was born on Oct. 2, 1992, in Biddeford, the son of David Lefebvre and Alison Murray. He grew up in Sanford, and attended schools there.
He was involved with wrestling, weightlifting and mixed martial arts during high school, he enjoyed working as an assistant coach with the youth wrestling program in Sanford.
Most recently, Stephen worked at his dad and step mom's diner helping with food prep.
He enjoyed all kinds of music, including country and rock music.
He is survived by his father David L. Lefebvre and his step mom Tricia of Keene, N.H., his mother Alison Smith and her husband Phillip of Scarborough; his siblings, Jodi Thibeault of Marlborough, N.H., Daniel Thibeault of Keene, N.H., Cameron Warner of Wells, Phillip J. and Jacob M. Smith of Scarborough; paternal grandparents, Albert and Donna Lefebvre of Lyman, Jeanette Bernier of Berlin, N.H., and Sadye Smith of Biddeford, maternal grandparents, John and Katherine Murray of Westbrook; and his uncles, Rob Murray of East Waterboro, and David Murray of Old Orchard Beach. His paternal step-grandfather, Roland Bernier, died earlier.
Calling hours will be held for Stephen on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, from 5-7 p.m., at the Fletcher Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life for Stephen, during the spring of 2014, in Scarborough.
