In the 16 years I've known Steve, I've learned much from him about strength of character and facing adversity head on. Steve was a loyal Mountaineer fan, closely associated with the WVU coaching staff and able to obtain many of them to speak to the Kanawha Valley WVU Fan Club. Coaches and Club members will miss him greatly. The most enjoyment I've ever experienced at a football game was traveling with Steve in 2010 when WVU played LSU in Baton Rouge.
