Steven Jeffrey Wiley

Decades ago I was with Steve and Monica at a Wednesday night Bible Study when he shared the initial diagnosis that he might have MS. I didn't believe it. Given Steve's gift for writing original Christian music, I assumed the LORD wouldn't deny the world the great things he would surely produce.

But God had other plans, and Steve would be called to glorify Him by walking a road none of us would ever choose to walk.

And glorify Him he did. Well done, good and faithful servant.

Monica and family, so very sorry and sad that Steve has passed to eternal life in our Savior Jesus. I have been so blessed by Steve's love for Jesus and for his family and for his many kind words to me. All the way from small group at your home, then at Glade Valley, then church visits to help Steve inside to be blessed by Mt Airy PCA worship and preaching. I share many fond memories of our brother in Christ. I've just prayed for God to comfort you with my sympathy and condolences.

It was such a blessing taking care of Steven. He was always a caring selfless person even when he was going through so much. May his family be blessed always
