SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, I JUST FOUND ADDRESS AND FOUND THIS. MY MOM WAS AUNT ELLAS NIECE AND MY GREAT AUNT. MY MON WAS WINIFRED CURTISS HEDMAN AND WAS THE NIECE IF AUNT ELLA, AGAIN SORRY.

I remember many years of visits to the big house in Miami Shores as our families celebrated holidays. Sybil served as model for care-giving as she was by "Aunt"Ella's side in the later years. I know Sybil and her parents and others who preceded her to the Kingdom are rejoicing and living whole again.

I am saddened to read, just now, that Sybil is no longer with us, but joyed to know she has joined her parents in the presence of her Lord! Dr. Barge delivered me; he and Ella were my Godparents. My family celebrated many Easters and Christmases with Sybil and her parents. I spent periodic summer Saturdays swimming, shopping or lunching at the Jockey Club with Sybil and Ella. Sybil's father, Dr. William J. Barge delivered me and my middle sister Carolyn Thomas. He removed my tonsils as well. I do remember going to his office in the Seybold Building and the ornage elevators there. My mother told us a little about his family, including his daughter Sybil. Your family made quite a mark in Miami and your father was a very good doctor. For that, I thank his whole family.

With sincere sympathy. Sybil will be remembered and missed.
Sincerely, Herta Holly

I am sorry to learn of Irene Barge's passing and wish to remember her Father Dr. William Barge. He was a great Physician; a practical man of medicine very popular with the downtown Miami legal community as well as businessmen who frequented his practice located in the Seybold Building. The Barge family were respected members of the Miami community.
