Sybil Mae Von Behren

1937 - 2025

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, October 26, 2025, Sybil Von Behren, 88.

Sybil had the biggest heart. Her love for the people and animals in her life was as abundant as her love for the Lord. She will be remembered as a woman of faith, strength, and independence. Known for being the ambassador of the White Elephant Café, Sybil will also be remembered for her lively personality, her humor that was sometimes a little off kilter, her excellent woodworking abilities, and her talkative Blue-Fronted Amazon Parrot. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing basketball, bowling, tennis, and was quite the fashionista. Being very beautiful and always put together, it was no surprise that she was a model for a short time and even spent a whirlwind week dating the famous Elvis Presley. But it was on the Barksdale Air Force Base where she met the love of her life Richard and began her family. She loved her one and only child with all her heart. Although she was known to say although she wanted more children, she decided Jai was enough!

Her family members include her daughter: Jai C West; her brother: Michael Presley; sister-in-law: Linda Presley; brother-in-law: Jim Jendro; her nieces: Connie Davison, Lana Jendro Baker, and Renee Muse; and her chosen daughter: Sallie Williams.
