Teena Rene Purvis Hughes, 55 of Thornton died Saturday February 7, 2015 at her home. Born October 18, 1959 at Houston, TX, she was a daughter of the late Millage Wesley Purvis, Jr. and Wanda Zenobia Spear Purvis. She is survived by her daughter, Julia Hughes of Manvel, TX; brother, James (Belinda) Purvis of Crosby, TX; sister, Connie (Mark Taylor) Blue of Manvel, TX; nieces, Tabitha Blue of Manvel, TX, Kayla Purvis of Crosby, TX; nephews, Jeffery Blue of Manvel, TX, Michael Purvis of Crosby, TX; three great nephews and one great niece. Teena was a great friend. She stayed by me during rough times. She was loyal and had a big heart. I wish we hadn't lost contact. May she rest in peace.
