Dr. Thomas Hoke Allen

As a Pathologist at Brookwood Hospital during the 1970' and 80's I was priviledged to serve as President of the Medical Staff. Dr. Allen served as a fellow member of the Board of Directors and was Chairman of our very important Surgical Services Committee. Tom had a deep interest in the direction of the Department of Surgery and faithfully attended and actively participated in our deliberations. One of the greatest pleasures in my life was having the honor of working with Dr. Allen. As a Surgical ICU nurse and later in Outpatient Surgery I could have asked for outstanding Doctor. He truly loved his patients. Dr. Allen was not only a Doctor but he was also my friend, I count this as a great honor. Goodbye Dr. Tom.
