My true mentor, friend and coworker! I recall Tom and family every November 4th. In retirement, I look back and recall those who had a meaningful role in my career and my life! Tom was one! Remember the good times! To my fellow fraternity brother, may you Rest in Peace!

Today Tom especially comes to mind and we send a message of love to Nancy, Tyler, Ann and Katie. Among many other great times.there was one wonderful weekend Tom engineered and played party planner to the bourbon trail and a famous horse farm. He rented a large van and was chauffeur, tossing jokes off as he drove. The good guys are never forgotten, and we believe Tom is watching over his family and smiling. With love, Dan and Diane

Ellen & I send our deepest condolences to Nancy, Tyler & Ann (Sissy). I always remember Tom referring to Ann as Sissy. Tom was an exceptional person with a sense of humor second to none! A quick story....I will always remember from our time at Ashland / Save Mart / SuperAmerica. Tom & I had to give a presentation to a group of managers at Lakeview Resort in Morgantown, WV. We attempted to practice the night before but laughed most of the time practicing. We told each other that we had to...

Tom always treated me so kindly. Whenever I think of my high school years and particularly my tennis career, I think of Tom. For example, I have fond memories of him driving Tyler and I to a tennis tournament across the state in western kentucky. He was incredibly witty and was very generous with his laughter - he had a great laugh. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed a wonderful career. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. God bless, Bryan Bosta

It is a sad day, today learning that an old friend and co-worker has passed away. Tom and I never worked super close together but had many interactions over the years with Save Mart and SuperAmerica. Funny memories dating back to opening my first Store in Manchester, Ky (1977). Fun times with him and Gary Grill, my area manager. We all lived thru the experience. I also got to work with him later in Lexington prior to the merger with Speedway. I lost touch after leaving the company in 1997. He...

I can´t say enough about Tyler´s dad. I´ve met so many friends´ dads over the course of my life, but there´s one that just stands out to me. That´s Thomas Harrison. He was always so kind and funny. I distinctly remember him coming to Bloomington to not just visit Tyler, but also spend time us (Tyler´s roommates). He´d take us out for lunch. He´d crack dad jokes. We´d talk sports. He was just a good man. As a college student- he was a fun dad. Later in life as a "real" adult-...

I had the privilege of working with Tom in the SuperAmerica offices in Ashland and Lexington from 1980-93 . Tom had a very rangy personality and a wonderfully outrageous sense of humor exhibiting stand up comedian potential . On the other end of the spectrum , he also had the ability to deliver a convincing presentation concerning serious issues . I would describe Tom as a mixture between Robin Williams and Paul Newman . I'll always be able to hear his cheerfully rowdy laugh and the way he...
