THOMAS "TOM" E. LAZOWSKI LOWELL, IN
Thomas "Tom" E. Lazowski, age 64, of Lowell, formerly of Schererville, IN and Casper, WY, passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 1, 2011. A loving father to Anastacia (Dale) Kluge, of UT, Cassandra (Curtis) Martin, of IN and Deanna (Michael) Schoof, of IN; grandfather to Amira Ziauddin, Mikayla Royal and Cameron Martin; caring brother to Stanley, Paul (Patricia), Richard (Linda), Deborah Lazowski and Betty (Gus) Cox. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Jane; parents: Stanley and Bernice. He was loved and supported by many relatives, neighbors and friends. Tom was a compassionate and caring person, who loved family and friends unconditionally. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a graduate of Hammond Tech High School and Purdue University Calumet with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was an Engineer for BP (Amoco) before working for Mosbeck in IL and then Consolidated Inc. in Gary. He will be placed to rest at sea during a private ceremony. A celebration of Tom's life will be hosted in the near future. The family requests contributions be made in Tom's honor to the American Heart Association.
