He was my grand fathers friend I remember going to his house but every now and then he would bring me this big suitcase full of toys we would have cook outs and play my grandfather played the guitar he would play the banjo and I would sing

Rest easy Tom. I´m sure you´ll be able to find some bluegrass pickers to hang with in heaven.

Deepest sympathy to the Neal family upon the recent passing of Tom Neal. He was party of my HHS '66 class and I remember him performing when I was a teenager, and was tickled that he had wide acclaim for his banjo talents. He frequently joined our Classmate Lunches and we will miss him taking a place at the table in fellowship with us.

I met Mr. Neal at one of his doctor's offices a few years ago. Everytime he saw me he called me 'cousin'. We obviously were not related but it definitely felt like we had a kinship. We would talk about genealogy and bluegrass music. Rest easy Mr Neal.

Tommy and his family were a part of our childhood growing up in Freeland. Like a kinship in a way. He always was kind, considerate and if asked, would probably do anything for you. When I threw a "This is your life " 50th birthday party for myself, I asked if he'd come and play his banjo for us. Of course he did and made the day that much more special for everyone.
