On March 21, 2014; THORNTON R. COLLINS; a WWII Veteran in the South Pacific Theater; beloved husband of the late Anna Mary Collins; loving father of Robert R. Collins; devoted grandfather of Michael Collins and Stephanie Magnin; cherished great grandfather of Brayden, Raelyn and Katelyn. Thornton was co-owner of Collins Machine Company with his four brothers. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26th from 11AM-12:30PM at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC.; 1630 Edmondson Avenue; Catonsville, MD 21228; where a funeral service will follow at 12:30PM. Interment in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
