So many here in the Trinity River valley were deeply saddened by the news of Tim's accident and death. Tim's arrival at the post offices in these rural areas was always a time of smiles, laughter, exchanges of news and family and sports. Fondly known here in Salyer as 'The Cookie Man', Timmy kidded us and we kidded him about his requests for Chocolate Chip cookies, and the red licorice he shared with us all.
