Tim was a childhood friend of my brother, Mark Ludwick. That meant he was a friend of all of the Ludwicks! My mom loved to cook, so she loved it when Tim came over because he loved her cooking. She loved to tell the story of fixing him a huge stack of pancakes and then he noticed a large can of tamales.
