Timothy Edward "Oz" May, 55 of McAndrews, KY passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Timothy was born on July 5, 1970, in Charleston, SC the son of Barbara Maynard May and the late Charles May. Timothy was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd Maynard, Ruth Maynard, Harold May and Goldie May. Timothy worked as a Registered Nurse for Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, KY.
Including his mother, Timothy is also survived by his daughter, Kelcey May, his granddaughter, Ember Sage Tackett and his fur baby, Brutus. Timothy also leaves behind a host of other loving family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Timothy from 1-5 PM at the Sharondale Church of Christ, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with Bob Werntz and Mike Hunter officiating. R.E. Rogers Funeral of Belfry, KY is serving the May family. Online condolences may be made at rerogersfh.com.
I wanted to send my condolences to the family. I never met Tim but I grew up with Barbara and loved her, her parents, Randy and her husband Charles and his parents. It was a close , loving community .
