Verdice Hodge

Mrs. Verdice Jones- Hodge, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, was born September 9, 1958 and departed this life on Sunday, May 18, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Virgil Jones Jr. and sister, Monica Ann Jones. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted family; her husband Charlie Hodge; one son, Demarcus Hodge of Mobile, AL; two daughters, Danielle Hodge and Ericka (Lonell) Davis of Montgomery, AL ; mother Callie Jones; sister Bridgett (Garry) Bolar; two brothers, Terry (Leontyne) Jones and Timothy Jones; three grandsons, Markez & Paxtalan Hodge, both of Mobile, AL and Logan Davis of Montgomery AL; grandmother, Flossie Carroll; mother-in-law, Janie Craig, of Pontiac Michigan; aunt , Clotee (Rev. Rochelle) Holsey; uncle, A.B. Fuller; other relatives and many friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary, Mobile on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 1-8pm. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 9am until the funeral hour 11am at St. Stephen A.M.E. Church, 2707 Josephine St. Mobile, AL.
