Uncle Wally,
I just wanted to tell you now and everyday that i love you so much! you will always be remembered as the most heartwarming and thoughtful man in the world!! please... watch over tessa and the rest of your kids!! and family.. she needs you so bad right now.. i will do anything in my power to keep her smiling.... i love you uncle wally... sleep tight!! see you when i get there!!!

We grew up together in the old neighborhood on Washington Street in Sumner. I can remember everything from ballgames at the old grade school, to fishing at Salmon Creek, to kick the can at night and Saturdays at the movies. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

My sincerest condolences to Wally's family. I have very fond memories of our High School days and his family and how we were always welcome in his home. My prayers go out to all of you.

I am so sorry to hear of Wally's death. It came as a quite a shock to me as I have been out of touch with his family and friends for a number of years. I just wanted to let you all know how sorry I am to hear of his passing, I have such fond memories of Wally, of his ready laugh and fun-loving nature. My sincere condolences to the entire family, but most especially to my dear friend Alice.

I'm very saddened to hear of Wally's passing. I had heard just recently that he was ill. Reading some of the entries here doesn't leave much to be said....Everyone needs a guy like Wally in their life...fun, sincere, genuine and the guy who could make you smile without saying a word. I met Wally in 1975 when we started playing ball for the Waterhole Pub. There was never a dull moment. I'm only sorry that I had not seen him in twenty years or so. Living so far away makes it hard to keep up...

I come from a family of sportsmen & cement finishers.Wally has always been a part of our family. I loved it whenever I saw Wally. His energy and "Let's get it ON!" attitude could make a gloomy day bright.

Wally Thank You for being such a great friend to my uncle E. I remember your humbling words of how he would always be your friend and how I thought BIG E was so lucky to have you.

I will always remember those 6 sunny days it took to pour our huge patio. How you talked about...

I would like to give my thoughts and prayers to Wally's family with his recent passing. His laughter and endless stories will be greatly missed.

Wally and I were doing errands for Brian and Debbie's wedding and he talked the whole day about how proud he was of all his kids and happy that they all grew up into such fine adults.

I am sure he will continue to watch over all of you.

Within our lives we have the opportunity to meet those that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. These are those that don't judge you for your faults, they don't look @ others as different or better but except you as a whole. Everett, our Children & I were blessed with a freind like this. Wally touched our lives in so many ways, his love of the outdoors, his love of good home cooking, his smile that could light up any dark room, and always his kind or encouraging words of wisdom....
