Many years ago, I benefitted from the very capable hands, and knowledge, of this wonderful physician. I have had no problem with my sciatica for greater than 30 years. What a tremendous man!!

To the family,
I remember Dr. Whitehurst with great fondness. On April 11, 1968, I was working the morning shift with the Birmingham Police Department and was involved in a severe wreck. I received a borken neck and fractured skull, layin in the hallway, on the way to the morge, and having been pronounced at Carraway, Dr.Whitehurst checked me and found I was still alive, took action and operated on me. After four days of unconsiousness, I awakened, Dr. Whitehurst, again operated on me...
