WANDA "FAYE" WADE

WADE, WANDA "FAYE" - age 65, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Faye enjoyed spending time with her family and loved children. She was a friend to everyone she met. Many years ago, when her sister, Martha, left this world, God left Faye here to fill what we lost; which was to kick you in the rear, hug your neck, or just listen and understand. You didn't have to be "blood" family to be family with Faye. If she met you and saw the good in you, you were hers for life. She didn't just like you when you were being the way she saw fit, when she loved you she loved you. Monday she went to Heaven to spend eternity with her family there. We all could learn from her in our own lives; God knows that with Faye there, Heaven is a better place today. Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Francis Newton; brothers, J.R. Newton, Marvin Newton, Bud Newton, and Jackie Newton; sisters, Bea Monroe and Martha Sise; son, Glenn Newton. Survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ralph Wade; sons, Michale Caughorn and John Wade; daughter, Denise Lantz; sisters, Lorene Porterfield, Merline Hensley (Ledford), and Nina Monroe (Bob); grandchildren, Blake, Tyler, Lanae, Lexi, Gage, and Devin; numerous nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; great-great nephews and great-great nieces; a multitude of friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Lakeview Baptist Church and at her home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church in her name.
