Not sure what to say?

For whatever reason the obituary for Mr. Katz popped up on my email. It is coming upon 4 years since his passing and I still, and always will remember how much of an influence he had on me. Frequently I still relate to someone a story about him. My mother stayed in contact with him when he went to the new Jr. High. I now have two daughters who are educators as well as a "new" wife. They have all heard me speak of him and have said that they hope that they are remembered as fondly as he...

Ervin Junior High was a great experience when I went there. Mr. Katz was well liked and highly respected. I enjoyed running into him and chatting a few times as an adult, and he was delightful. Deepest sympathies to Karol and family and his many friends. Take comfort in the difference he made in peoples lives.

Mr. Katz was my Science teacher 1961-62 and what a teacher he was. Without a doubt the most inspiring educator in my 6 years of Secondary and then to include the following 10 years of college and post-graduate school. If only all in the education field were able to spark an interest in students the way he could. I can only imagine how wonderful a husband, father and grandfather he was. I am so sorry for your loss. Heaven has gained a magnificent addition

Wayne was such a great man and educator. Will miss him.

To the Katz Family:Mr.Katz was a nice and good and respectful and honest principal that i knew for 3 years at Ervin Junior High School when i was a student going there. He will be missed and is now with our lord and savior Jesus Christ.Rest in peace.Taina Boone Martin Raytown Mo

To the Katz family: My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this day of sorrow .God Bless and Best Wishes. Taina Boone Martin and family Raytown MO

Prayers for the family as you grieve the loss of an incredibly caring man. Mr. Katz was so supportive and encouraging of me as a rookie teacher. Throughout my years at Ervin, he became a friend and a mentor. I can truly say he was the best principal ever!

A prayer for sympathy for you and yours
we are thinking of you at this time of
sorrow. I worked for Mr Katz at Ervin
and he was so good to me.
