We and several others were saddened to hear of Lester's passing at our Transus luncheon yesterday. He was an outstanding Christian man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May God give His peace to all who grieve.

Lester Austin was our good neighbor and friend. We will always cherish the memories. He was a good christian man. We will never forget his thoughtfulness. We will pray that God will give you strength during this difficult time.

I will always remember Grandaddy Lester's great smile and how upbeat he always was. We will miss him and I'm praying for my best friend Vickie and her family to be strong during this difficult time. Just remember all of the good memories that will always be with you!!

Mr. Lester was such a wonderful GrandDad to my son Brad. I appreciated him as he was an answer to my prayers in the fact that Brad would have a strong Christian influence around him. I know the loss is great here on earth but the Heavens are rejoicing and one day for believers you will be reunited. I will be praying for you all.

when my husband & i were new to first baptist church of orchard hill, mr. lester was amongst the first to make us feel welcome. he was such a sweet man. may he rest in peace.
