Not sure what to say?

I was an 18 year old African American when my son was born. Dr. Coby took time to advise me on parenting. He took time to explain growth charts, vaccinations and such. I eventually went back to school to obtain my degree in nursing. Working at the hospital, I was able to see his care and compassion for ALL people first hand. He retired when my son was 17. How blessed we were that Dr. Cobey was able to see him through all those years. My son just mentioned him today. I was felt compelled to...

Best doctor I have ever met! I saw him for 18yrs untill he insisted that I couldn't keep my pediatrician forever. I'm 42 now and still can remember exactly how his office looked, the smell, and how he always shook my hand. He always asked me what I thought the problem was, and how he should treat it. He was a great soul.

Dr. Cobey was a wonderful pediatrician. I am privileged to have been one of his patients. Prayers for his family

He was my pediatrician and a wonderful one at that. I think about him when I pass by where his office was on Randolph rd. I can still rremember what his office looked like inside with his pictures he took on the walls and the printed curtains in the rooms. To this day I still look away when getting a shot or needle stick. (I'd look at therthe curtain print) Dr Cobey was a great doctor and I just wished that my two girls could have seen him too. Prayers and my condolences to the family.

My mother, Doretha Cole, was a nurse in Dr. Cobey's office in the early to mid 60's. He was also my pediatrician until I was to old for a Pediatrician. Ironically the last time I saw him was in the hall outside delivery when my son was born. He was a good and kind man.

Peaceful Passage Arrangement

Dear Flo
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Bill was a great man. I am so glad I had the privilege of knowing him both through St. Martin's and as Ellen and John's pediatrician. God's peace to you.
Fondly,
Kathy Shinkle

Dr. Cobey was a wonderful, precious man. I'm so glad I knew him. He was the pediatrician of my 2 treasured children. He diagnosed my daughter with her cancer 32 years ago when she was 2. He was with my family all the way through that nightmare, and helped pull all of us through. I am forever grateful to him, and pray for you all for your loss. I know your heart's are heavy. Let his sweet memory bring you peace.

Carolyn & Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. Keep his love in your heart always.
