Not sure what to say?

I was very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I worked at Mills, Fife & MacDonald in the 70's. I was rather immature, and Bill (and Jim Coari) were good employers and great mentors. I learned a lot and I thank many people for the experience. I will keep his family in my thoughts.

I'm very sorry to know Bill has passed... He and Mr. Mills were my employers in the early age of Mills, Fife & MacDonald. It was a wonderful experience to know Bill, My sincere regrets on his passing to the family...

Bill was my dear friend for many years when I worked for American Society of Baking. He was my go-to guy, showed me the ropes and was always incredibly supportive. Also taught me the baking industry history. He was my frequent caller and one I always looked forward to seeing. I will always remember his pride receiving the Robert A. Fischer award! I will miss you Bill and thankful you were in my life for many years. Hugs to Bill and his family that he talked of often to me with great pride.

Bill receiving the prestigious Robert Fisher Award

Brian,
So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. My prayers are with you and family.
Sincerely,
Arlene Hall

I was fortunate to know Bill from the mid 70's and as the years went by I got to know him more as a friend than a vendor. He served as President, Secretary/Treasurer of the Bakers Courtesy Club of Chicago and was honored a few years back with the Bob Fisher award from the American Society of Baking. What a class individual...he will be missed.

To all the Fife children - we/re so very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a wonderful man and raised wonderful children. You all are a great legacy to him. Our prayers are with you and your families.

He was a great guy.
