On November 2, 2016 William J. "Bill" Henderson passed away. He was the beloved husband of Josephine Henderson (nee DiPeso Staszak), and the late Betty Henderson; devoted father of Brian and Mary Henderson, Shari and Steve Adams, Lori and Sean Ledford, Donna DiPeso, Paul and Stella DiPeso, Joseph and Kym DiPeso, and Jeff and Yvonne DiPeso; cherished grandfather of Brittany and John, Allison, Andrew, Tyler, Garrett, Ryan, Kendall, Kristin, Alexa, Anastasia, Joseph, Daniel, Jenna, Grady, Graceann, and Winslow; loving great-grandfather of Connor and Carson; dear brother of Regina Ricci, Joseph Henderson, and the late Albert Henderson. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014 on Friday from 3-9 PM, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000 Boone, NC 28607 (samaritanspurse.org). Online tributes may be left at www.schimunekfuneralhomes.com.

Bill was our insurance agent for many years, and we considered him a friend. I lost my husband in September, and Bill came to his viewing. He was a great help to me, handling the financial end of the funeral and he was kind and considerate always. He seemed so well, I am shocked to hear of his passing. I just got the news with a letter from John Hancock, and am sorry I was not aware in time to come to his funeral. Please accept my sincere sorrow for your loss...I know it all too well. Jo & the Henderson family,
We are deeply saddened by Bill's passing. We just saw him Saturday and would have never thought he would be in Heaven as this is being written. We are never promised today or tomorrow, but we are promised Heaven, to walk on the streets of gold, dance in HIS presence, to have a mansion HE has prepared for us & a promise that we will see Bill again. This Earth has lost a fine man of integrity, love and an awesome heart that only God could have given to him.

Dear Josephine, Pat and I are devastated to learn of Bill's passing. You and Bill were very close to us and remain special friends. Bill provided guidance and friendship to Mike in many ways and his wise counsel will be greatly missed.

Dearest Josephine, I was deeply saddened to hear of your dear Bill's passing. My heart aches for you, your children, and your grandchildren. It is those left behind who suffer with Bill's departure but our faith tells us that we will all be together again. Our Heavenly Father called Bill home, to us it was way too soon, but to God, it was the perfect time. Bill was the most trusted person to contact for Insurance or Financial Problems. We had some Wonderful Times Together with Bill & Betty back in my formidable years of Marriage & Police Story's. I've sat here for a while watching the cursor blink, wondering what I could possibly say to my cousins who have lost the man they were lucky enough to call father. I feel blessed to have had him as my 'Uncle Bill'. I remember alot of things - but what I remember most is the laughter. When our parents, our families were together - there was always laughter and love. What a great gift to pass on to children. I love you all, You remain in my heart and in my prayers.
