Not sure what to say?

Dear Sandy, We were saddened to hear that Bill has passed away. We have many memories from the time our children were in school together, and we know he will be missed. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sandy and Family, Our sincere condolences. I was out of state and did not hear of Bill's passing until today. Thoroughly enjoyed your company at the military balls, etc. Bob and Rose Sheehan BRAVO Co 101st Engr BN

Bill was a great teacher and a good friend to all of my kids who he taught. I owe him a lot for inspiring my kids to do their best, for his advice, his good humor and great heart. He will be missed.

Dear Mrs. Hurley and family,
I was so saddened to hear about Bill's passing. He was a great man and I have so many good memories of him from all the years we visited. My best memory though, was not during the Christmas season. I will never forget the emotion that came over me for not only the great...

Brigadier General (MA) Bill Hurley was a wonderful inspring leader of the troops in the "pursuit of excellence"". A shining light for all to see. My wife Cathie and I send our sincere condolences to the Hurley family. Lt.Gen.(MA) ret. Joseph Hegarty

For so many years, I thoroughly enjoyed teaching with Bill at WHS. He brought laughter and wit into our lives; but he was also the first to help people when they needed it. When a colleague died unexpectedly, he made certain her children had Christmas; when another lost her place to live, he helped her. I am very sorry to hear about Mr. Hurley. He was such a great man, father and husband and so scholarly. He taught us kids so much. I know he will be greatly missed. Sending you all love and prayers.

Sandy and family,
We have so many wonderful memories of you and Bill back with the 101st Engineers. Bill was always so up and so much an individual. We can not be at the services as we are in Italy, but our prayers are with you.

Love,
