Not sure what to say?

My husband is son of Jean Leitner formerly of Portsmouth VA who later moved to Richmond. Her father Arthur Leitner worked for the railroad and she is there only child. My husband is looking for his relatives.

Missing you Uncle Roney as the one anniversary of your passing is almost here. You left us to join the Lord and so many other loved ones in Heaven on May 15th, 2023. Love you, Nancy

Roney, you were more to me than just a friend, as I'm sure you were to many other people. I spent many an hour in your garage on Glasgow Street with you, in Nags Head, Chesapeake Bay, on your boat, etc. etc. I believe at one time they were quite a few of us who became known in Olde Towne as the garage geezers. Another Olde Towne icon has set sail...how many lives has he touched in our region? How much have he and Doris contributed to the resurgence of Olde Towne Portsmouth? The Ghost Walk....the many tasks completed out of his garage? Keep an eye on us and thanks for all you and Doris did.....Dave and Nancy Leonard around the corner on Middle Street.

I offer my condolences to Mr. Leitner's extended Family and Friends at this time of great loss. May Peace be with you. He was my paper route manager in the '50s and was a wonderful role model. I have many fond memories of Mr. Leitner. May he rest in Peace.

He was a wonderful uncle and friend to many people. He will be missed and talked about fondly for years to come. Love, Nancy
