Not sure what to say?

After all these years, I still have fond memories of William and miss his Gion companionship. I often think about him and the very strong influence he had on my career. Abiento. Gerard!

Even after these many years I think of William often. His interactions with Eric (and even hiring Eric as "a consultant" during our Columbia years) were filled with creativity and inspiration. I can still see them, in their bow ties and suspenders, speaking as Friends, right from the start...

I remain thankful for our time together and that family connections remain intact.

May the good William did in this world, including his countless investments in the...

I think of William often. I enjoyed our gallery hopping and miss his comments about artist´s work as well as his encouragement of mine. Thoughts of his modesty and friendship still warm me.

William was a discerning collector who treasured his artists as much as they treasure him. I miss him everyday.

it does not seem like three years have passed since William's death. As I think of him the best memory is that he was a person who treated his employees fairly and was a leader you could look to lead with ethics and dignity. Now everytime I hear about climate change and people saying they can't do anything I think of William Louis Dreyfus and trees. What a great legacy - helping future generations breathe so that they can create and contribute. ...

William made a great impact on my life. His unconditional trust, his guidance and his generosity always reminds me of what a great leader should be. He was so humble is was very heartwarming. It was a pleasure and an honour to have worked for William.

William stood like an aged and mighty Oak among tender saplings. His knowledge of the arts as well as finance is a commodity that will be missed.

A year later, I just was told that William Louis-Dreyfus had passed away in September 2016. I worked for Tom Scheuer and Mertin Sarnoff in Stamford and always looked forward to when William and Ernie Steiner were coming to Stamford. I loved that he always wore his overalls and that we'd always have some philosophical discussion about life. He inspired me to further my education, which I did. I finished college; then went on to law school. Thanks to his inspiration, I now have a solo...
