Read MoreMr. Mays was my principal at Weathersfield 1963-68. Everything you'd imagine in a great man, and he corrected me more than once! Young, dashing, handsome, winning smile. Times were very different then, so principals felt they had to be stern with us kids. He did right by us.

We particularly remember the good times when Bill was principal at Meadows School when our 2 kids were there and Bob helped him with the children's chorus. Karen knew Dick at school in Oxnard until the family moved to Ventura....and her older brother tap-danced in "Mr. Trojanality at USC......so the ties go back a very long time. We send our sincere sympathy to Mary Ellen and the whole family.
