Following retirement from M&W Insurance, he enjoyed travels to several national parks, Alaska, the islands and western Europe. He loved spending time "on the benches" with his Pulaski Club friends, walking his beloved dog, "Jefferson," and visits with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Rowe Puller and their two children, Andrew, "Drew," and Rosalind Malhotra, "Roz," as well as grandchildren, Owen, Gavin and Jake Puller, Kieran and Sarika Malhotra. Also, his sister Mildred Hudgins and her husband Ellis and brother-in-law Maynard Montgomery Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rachel "Jack" Harris.
