I light this candle in remembrance of the light Rev. Vaughan had over him. I remember growing up in Norview Mennonite Church singing 'This little light of mine,, I'm going to let it shine' and watching Rev. Vaughan smile so bright... He opened his heart and his home to my brother and I to where we were part of the family. To my dear sister, Wanda and my dear brother Victor, I Love you and pray your strength in the Lord.

To the entire family my prayers are with you. Rev. Vaughan was a very kind person. He was never too busy to stop and chat with the neighbors. It was always a delight to see the family walking to church. What a blessing he was to the neighborhood. He will never be forgotten.

The Turner Family, formerly of Norfolk County-Mt Pleasant area, which is now Chesapeake, VA, consisted of 11 Children and our parents, Mr.& Mrs. Joseph H. Sr. and Christine D. Turner.
