William Weller Obituary

A native of Belvidere, IL, he graduated from the Belvidere High School in June 1942. Enlisted in the Navy in 1942 and served as an electrician in the Pacific during WWII. He attended the University of Illinois and the University of Colorado. He retired from the Stearns-Roger Corp. in 1986, having worked most of his life as an engineer. He was a registered Professional Engineer. After retirement, he was a volunteer with Recording For the Blind and Dyslexic for a ten-year period. Survivors include his two daughters, Kathleen (William) Hunter, of Aurora, CO and Janelle (Larry) Gallegos, of Littleton, CO, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A funeral will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd, Littleton, CO.
