Naples, FL
Veronica J. Gasperak, 85, of Naples, passed away April 17, 2016. Born in West Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of Eugene and Leona Fitzgerald. Veronica, who liked to be called "Roni," married Joseph R. Gasperak in 1962 and moved to Naples in 1985. Also called "Gigi" by her great-grandchildren, she loved spending time with and watching them grow. She was a "people person," loved to have fun, sing and dance and smiled a lot. Her family was the most important thing to her, including her grandchildren's in-laws. She always wanted to be an "office gal," starting on her first typewriter at age 14 and spent her life raising family and keeping books/accounts as a living.
Roni is survived by her children, Patricia Line, William C. (Lee Ann) Line, and Candice Line; grandchildren, Melissa (Michael) Line Peters, Brittany A. (Blaine) Johnathan, and Nolan E. (Tammi) Line; great-grandchildren, Melody and Cooper Peters, and Brendan, Blake, and Brielle Johnathan; her brother, Eugene Fitzgerald; and sister, Mollie Boshko. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Joseph; her brother, Maurice Fitzgerald; and sister, Tillie Senez.

Dear Candi & Family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. Candi, how much fun did we have when your mom let us borrow her yellow Grand Prix. I'll always remember her telling us as teenagers the meaning of "assume". I never forgot that. Rest in Peace.
