Dear Peter and Sandra,
Though many years have passed since the loss of your beloved child in 2011, I want to let you know that my heart is still with you. At that time, I was still very young, in primary four, but as I have grown older, I have come to understand more deeply the weight of such a loss. Please accept my heartfelt condolences even now, for the pain of losing a child never truly leaves.
I continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and I sincerely hope that one day I may see you and your family again. May God´s comfort and peace always be with you.

Many prayers and love to your family, I lost a brother, 5 years ago, to similar circumstances. I empathize with your pain and grief and will continue to pray for all of you. Remember all the amazing smiles and laughter that John brought to everyone he knew/met...Although I did not have the privilege of knowing him, the beautiful memorial today left me with a 'knowing' that he was

To all John's family and friends. As a former coach in San Diego I was always impressed with John and his wrestling ability but i was more impressed with his work ethic and dedication. He traveled far and wide to wrestle the best. He was fierce competitor but then firendly off the mat. He was an ambassador for the sport and more importantly an ambassador for Christ. I had heard so much about John but the first time I got to meet him was at an SMU Parents Weekend when he was still in High School. I remember his wonderful smile and his self-confidence. I am known for my sarcasm. John understood it and gave it right back to me!
