OH my heart aches for your loss! I will always remember her sweet, kindly smile everytime we saw each other. Our families grew-up together at National Avenue Baptist Church, where Peggy filled the church with GODS great gift of music! Such a tiny person, but such a GREAT mark on our lifes memories. My sister Ann and I were reminising of our childhood. We all played together at your house jumping on the roof of the old chicken coop. We played hard until Mrs. Fanny made us try to take a nap. Yeah right, all us girls layed around giggling until time to go back to church. I think Mrs. Fanny was expecting little Miss Peggy then. Even though we are not together now, our warm memories flood our hearts when we meet again from time to time! WE WILL MISS YOU PEGGY!

Though I lost my best friend, it's hard to be sad knowing she's with Jesus and no longer suffering! She endured so much in her 57 years and was still such an amazing example to so many! Miss you mom!

Having known Peggy since about she was about age 12, there isn't enough time left in my life to share about all of the good things Peggy has done in her life. Peggy was the kind of person that the more you were around her the more you wanted to be around her. I have never known her to say and unkind word about anyone. For a long time I didn't understand how someone could be so loving. Then as I became closer to our Lord I realized that Peggy had always been. Her witness to the way she live her life will be forever embeded in my heart. I have known thousands of Christians in my lifetime many of them pastors. I can think of none that have been of a better witness of how to love our Lord and our neighbor. I for one will miss her dearly but will cherish forever the memories of the love that she had for Kay, my chlldren and I. Right now I'm sure that she and Kay are catching up on a lot of sisterly love. My prayers are with Alicia, David, Anabeth, Fay, Marsha, Carol, Sandy, Randy, Cassie,Fred and Jerry. Remember if Peggy could give us one word of encouragement it would be Jesus. She would want us to be assured that we walked with the Lord so we could all be together again. Love and praying for you all.

My thoughts and prayers go out with all of Peggy's family. Our parents were very dear friends. I have eaten many a meal and spent many a night with Peggy and her sisters. Peggy was a special person with so much love. She was always a friend to anyone, a loving and caring sweet soul was Peggy. I have laughed and cried with her and her family. You will always be missed Peggy, thank you for all that you gave us!!!!! You will never be forgotten.
