Brandon Blankenship Obituary

Services for Brandon Blankenship, age 24, of Painesville will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville, where friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
Born Jan. 19, 1987, in Cleveland, Brandon passed away Oct. 8, 2011, at his home.
Brandon enjoyed music, camping, fishing, being outdoors, and making people laugh. He was a graduate of Riverside High School, Class of 2005.
Survivors are his son, Ocean Gray, whom he loved with all his heart; parents, Eddie and Shelly Blankenship and Carolyn Huber; siblings, Veronica McNamee, Venessa Santini, Kayla Blankenship, Amanda Blankenship, Karra Walaconis and Adam Gomez; grandparents, Linda and Don Waddell, Eddie and Sharon Blankenship, Paul Huber, Carolyn Gilts, Frank and Connie Bedenk; great-grandparents, Alverda ""Berdie"" McGuire, Chester and Helen Waddell, Ethel Wilson, Frank and Chris Bedenk; aunts, Shannon (David) Fawbush, Jennifer Christman, Jessica Huler; uncles, Matthew Waddell, Pete (Sheila) Christman, Ben Christman and Mike (Brenda) Bedenk; nieces, Rochelle Wunsch, Ava Santini, Karley Castillo; great-aunts and uncles, Patricia (Brett) Sloan, Marie (Scott) Butler, Louise (Gary) Bena, Felicia (Karl) White, Rebecca (Jack) Bosworth, Sheila (Wynn) Cunningham, Herb Costanzo, Steven (Tammi) Costanzo, Elaine McGuire, Eddie Waddell and Jim Waddell; cousins, Tyler Green, Kyler and Kadin Waddell, David Nofziger, Angela Hytree, Jason Sloan, Rachel Porostosky, Sarah Butler, Jake Francis, Elizabeth Bena, Krystal Costanzo, Stephen Costanzo Jr., Kayla, Katie and Karla White, J.R. Waddell, Sean P. McGuire, Sean W. McGuire and Kimberly DeWitt; special friend, Amy Gray; and many other well-loved friends who will deeply miss him. (Please note family has added additional survivors.)
He was preceded in death by many loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in care of the family for his son, Ocean's educational fund.
