Glenda Mayse Obituary
Born April 6, 1938, in Painesville and passed away May 25, 2011, at Hospice House in Cleveland after a long fighting battle with cancer.
Glenda was a graduate of Riverside High School. She was a self-employed concessionaire in Northeast Ohio for 31 years. She enjoyed doing special events, fairs and festivals. She was a member of R.S.V.P. group for St. Vincent Charity and the Green Hats Society.
Survivors are her husband, Donald Mayse, whom she married Jan. 26, 1946; son, Jeff Mayse of Concord Township; daughters, Connie Sponaugle of Leroy, Sherri Snell of Painesville and Amy Avcin of Concord Township; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Brenda Rodecker of Painesville and Debbie Miller of Painesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Sophie (Majka) King; and grandchild, Tabitha Mayse.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor, OH 44060.

sorry for your loss Don, Connie, Jeff (and Debbie), Sheri, and Amy, Brenda and Debbie. She always made me laugh, and was a very nice person, the food part of the midway won't be the same this year.

Amy -Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I can remember Glenda shaking her head and saying "You Girls!" when we were mischievious, which was often! She will really be missed.
